Strive

The upcoming Strive Training Session begins on Monday, January 22, 2018. 

Strive is a 6-week Program: 4 days per week to include, classroom, lab and clinical time.

Overview:
Are you looking to earn more than minimum wage? Are you interested in a career in healthcare? Participate in the Certified Nursing Assistance program through Operation Fresh Start at Madison College.  Qualified applicants receive continual support as part of a select group of OFS Strive Participants.  All course materials are paid for, including books, uniform and licensure exam. Great job leads and career placement assistance.

Eligibility:
To be eligible you must have a high school diploma, HSED or GED. You must also be 17-21 years old, currently earn less than $24,000/year, and not enrolled in college.

Expectations:
100% attendance, regular work to be completed outside of the classroom, individual and group study sessions during the day.

Benefits:
All participants get paid while completing this intense 6-week Certified Nursing Assistance Program. Additionally, after completion, participants are given continued assistance in searching for and maintaining long-term employment. Free breakfast and lunch is provided.
