CARPENTER TRAINER/GRADUATE CREW SUPERVISOR

The Graduate Crew Supervisor assists participants in taking the next step toward employment in the construction field including helping members prepare for Apprenticeship testing, providing pre-apprentice aligned instruction in the field, and contacting potential employers. Additional responsibilities include planning and coordinating material, equipment, and crew work activities; implementing and enforcing all OFS safety rules, guidelines, and policies; and assigning participant work duties and motivating crew members to work together as a team.

HOURS: Full time – 40 hours/week. Generally from 7:15 – 5:15 M – TH or T – F, but may vary at times.

RESOURCE SPECIALIST

As an employee of Operation Fresh Start, the Resource Specialist will assume a lead role in implementing the social service work plan and case management services to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Out-of-School Youth (OSY) participants in programming that provide evidence of and promotes well-being, self-sufficiency, social competency and youth service resources enabling successful participation in work readiness training, employment and/or post-secondary education.

HOURS: Full time – 40 hrs/week. Generally from 7:15 – 5:15 M – TH or T – F, but may vary at times.

SALARY: The starting pay is between $38,000 to $44,000 per year, depending on qualifications, plus benefits.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The primary office of this position will be at Operation Fresh Start with office hours also at Madison College Truax campus, 1701 Wright St, Madison, WI and travel to other locations in Dane County. This position may also be meeting with individuals in neighborhood settings.

OUTREACH SPECIALIST

Provides outreach to partner organizations and individuals about programming available at Operation Fresh Start (OFS) and assists with intake process; works with community partners (schools, community centers, human services agencies, corrections) to engage potential applicants for various Operation Fresh Start programs; works to educate community members about all facets of OFS programming and mission.

HOURS: Full-time – 40 hour/week. Generally from 7:15 – 5:15 M – TH or T – F, but may vary at times.
